We are excited to offer the citizens of Roy and surrounding cities the opportunity to enjoy the game of soccer with Utah North Youth Recreation Soccer.

Where there are NO Tryouts, Positive Environment, Player Development, Good Sportsmanship, Good Quality Uniforms and a place to make soccer friends for life.

We strongly believe that the skills you learn as a soccer player with Utah North Youth Recreation Soccer will stay with you for a lifetime.
UNYS is a non-profit, volunteer ran organization.

The 2026/2027 games will begin in August and play through mid-October. The spring season typically starts 1st weekend in April, depending on the weather and snowfall, and then games end mid-May, typically the week before Memorial Day.

While our UNYS coaches are volunteers, we have several experienced returning coaches that understand the elements of Player Development. Like Painters every coach is different, with their own style, philosophy and outlook of the beautiful game. The key element that resonates between us all however is the reason we are coaching: to improve, inspire and grow our players both on and off the field.

Utah North Youth Soccer Program is for players 4-18 years of age. Fee includes soccer uniform (home and away jersey), shorts and socks, trained referees, coach training, supplemental accident insurance, and soccer field equipment. You also get 14 soccer games. That is over 14 weeks of family fun!

Online soccer signup begins in May each year for the following Fall and Spring soccer season. Registration includes both Fall and Spring seasons. If you want to play Spring Soccer only, it is recommended you still register in the fall to guarantee a spot on a team.

Registration Dates:
2026/27 Fall/Spring: May 15, 2026
If a division reaches its max number of players in the fall, we will put you on a waiting list for the spring. There is no cost for you to register and be on the wait list. We highly encourage you to do so because things happen and spots open up. We pull for the top of the waiting list to fill any spots. In the spring we contact those on the wait list to see if they still wish to play and add them to teams or form new teams if we have enough interest.

We fill any open spots by pulling players from the top of the waitlist. In the spring, we will reach out to those on the waitlist to confirm their interest in playing. Depending on the level of interest, we will either add players to existing teams or form new teams.

Players whose parents are willing to coach will receive priority on the waitlist if new teams need to be created.

Shin guards are mandatory and are NOT included in the registration fees. Parents must purchase these, and it is also recommended to purchase your player their own soccer ball to bring to practice and games.

Is this a Competition League?	No, this is a RECREATION League. No Tryouts. Everyone can play!
Is the uniform included?	Yes. The uniform is included with registration and will be provided during the UNYS uniform handout.
